Advanced Rehab & Recovery in Hull
At The Injury Clinic in Hull, we’re proud to offer the Alter G® Anti-Gravity Treadmill, an elite rehabilitation tool used by top athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals recovering from injury.
The Alter G uses NASA-developed Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology to reduce your body weight while walking or running — allowing pain-free movement during recovery. Whether you're returning to sport, managing an injury, or recovering after childbirth or surgery, the Alter G helps you move earlier, safer, and with confidence.
What Is the Alter G?
The Alter G treadmill is a specialist rehabilitation machine that allows you to exercise at a reduced body weight, adjustable in 1% increments. By offloading up to 80% of your body weight, it reduces impact on your joints, muscles, and connective tissue — allowing you to walk or run with less pain and risk.
You step into a sealed air chamber via special shorts, and the machine calibrates to your body to create a precise and supported workout environment.
Key Benefits:
Walk or run without pain or impact
Start rehab sooner post-injury or surgery
